Privacy policy

While you design

The sticker maker runs in your browser. The name and words you type are not sent to us until you add the sheet to your cart; then we store your design with the cart so we can print exactly that.

Children's names

The sticker sheets carry a child's first name, which a parent or other adult types in. We use it only to print and deliver the order. Our site is meant for adults; we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

When you order

We collect your name, email address, shipping address and, if you give it, phone number, to fulfil and support your order.

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc.; we never see your full card details.

To print and ship your order we share your name, shipping address and your sheet's design with our print partner Printful Inc., which prints and ships from the United States.

Where your data is stored

Our shop and order records run on servers at Hetzner in Finland (EU). Stripe and Printful process data in the United States and other countries under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as bookkeeping law requires, which for our Swedish company is seven years.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to keep your cart and, if you create an account, your sign-in.

We use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages help people and where they get stuck, and which orders came from which visits. It sets cookies and records the pages visited, the device and browser type, an approximate location and, when you buy, the order value. The names and words on your sheet are never sent. Google keeps this data for 14 months. You can opt out with Google's browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by blocking cookies.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it. Write to hello@goldstarstickers.com; we reply within 30 days. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights too, and we will not treat you differently for using them.
